Trying not to take much in life too seriously, Forums (this one included) are best served by exchanging USEFUL information, helping out a fellow FJ owner with a problem OR through a difficult issue.

I think it is a little too self righteous for a select few to tell someone else their mod's are bad, what does it matter, it does not affect my FJ's value or the value I derive from my vehicle. I can't understand why anyone would want to put down someone based on their likes dislikes, this is still a free country last time I checked. I have been visiting this forum since Nov 05, it started out great with anticipated speculation on when the FJ would be available, what options would be available, through the horror stories of waiting for delivery, onto helpful advice for new owners. Now I think this forum is monopolized by elitist members who put down anything different than what they believe is the "correct" way to display vehicle pride.

If you think it is a symbolic demon like angel cast out of heaven enroute to Earth to kill and eat all Fj owners..... I don't think thats what it is.

Gee and here I was just accused of being uptight on another forum! People can cover the FJ with what they want as far as I am concerned! Smother it in sheepskin or Hershey syrup! So what if people have bad taste,I'm not driving their FJ. And maybe all that sheepskin had a safety factor. Maybe people need all that padding because they could not afford the air bags.
A lot of people who have FJs are not aware of this forum and the fantastic options our vendors offer them so they have to settle for aftermarket items that are available whether or not they they like them.
Sorry that I opened a pandora's box. Was just looking to give people a few good chuckles more at the expense of "bling" vendors than any individual on this forum.
