Poll: Cruise Control Down Shifting and Aggressive Acceleration

Some owners have reported issues with the cruise control down shifting on small to moderate inclines and accelerating too much to maintain speed. Some have described the acceleration as "gunning it" and see it as unsafe.

Re: Poll: Cruise Control Down Shifting and Aggressive Acceleration

MT,here. Most of the time my cruise control is my right foot but when I have used it,I just pay attention to the terrain and shift up or down accordingly and hit resume to let the CC take over again. No problems so far.

Re: Poll: Cruise Control Down Shifting and Aggressive Acceleration

I Have No Problem With My Cruise Control Accept On Hills Where At Times It Seems To Seek What It " Believes" Is The Most Efficient Gear. I Put My AUTO TRANNY Into 4th Gear, And It Ceases To Be A Problem. Once On Level Terrain, Its Back To "D."

Everyone Of Course Knows That On Wet Or Slippery Pavements, Crusie Control Is Not Recommended For Use By Any Vehicle.
