Just validates my point that everyone but toyota has said they will be canceling the past 2 years. It won't be canceled until they come to a minor model or major model change. 2011 at the earliest.

While its a "new" its a year old article...FJ still be produced as of today...2010s will be out soon enough.

What? You mean there's no plan to for continue discontinuation building east future FJ's with O'ten model year without changing TRD third row seat on the blacked out hood mirrors or side bag air curtains? Well shlt. The tat2 artist down the street said the 2011 model would have a fjouj3[0q3n4t as standard equipment. I couldn't believe it.

This is all news to me.

Re: Need a new "no more FJ" thread?

all i know is i don't care if they discontinue it. what i do care about is service. i just had some service done to my FJ and it took over 2 weeks, unacceptable. they claim hard to get parts which makes no sense as the parts are not hard to get but hey what can I do...

when i picked up my FJ the other day the tech said its only gonna get harder as time goes on to get parts for the FJ and I asked why? he said the FJ is a dying breed. so here we go again with rumors. he even went on to say trucks in general will probably be scarce as the years go on!?!?!? hhahahahahahahahahhahahaha

With Toyota posting losses I wouldn't be surprised if this was on the hit list.

Re: Need a new "no more FJ" thread?

Hard to believe the FJ is a dying breed. Every parking lot I have been to in the past two days there has been an FJ parked there. This is some popular dying breed. I see a lot more FJs than I do Xterras.

I refuse to believe the FJ is dead until I read an current and official announcement stating just that straight from Toyota! But, that is just me!
