AutoWeek reviews the FJ, February 13th edition

My new Autoweek came today and low and behold, a review on the upcoming FJ Cruiser!!! Nothing new members, except it will hold a 9' surfboard with the rear hatch closed. They drove it down to the beach and invited local surfers to check it out as they walked back to their cars. The surfers loved it, but they would prefer "waterproof" (neoprene?) seat material instead of "water resistant". Positive review overall, and they commented on the "Crayola" exterior colors. The next couple of pages holds a review of the upcoming 2007 Wrangler. On sale this September and starting at 19K for a base model.

Neoprene seat covers. I think I'm gonna do that. See: Wet Okole

Just went to that website http://www.wetokole.com/ Very cool stuff. Slightly pricy but if you want waterproof, where else is there? (I only say its slightly pricy because there is an upholsterer that I know that leathered my old car for only $800)

Cool thing about the wet okole ia they have cayon colors that match the FJ. And they will do custom two tones and piping.

Performance Products offer some too for about 2/3 of price.

or just spend another 500 and get
