Hey Rubicon, could you please snap a picture of this and post up a decent size, clear shot of it. It'd be cool to have something to take into the dealer to show them what we're talking about.
Absolutely. As luck would have it, I have my Camera here. Someone just needs to school me on the photo thing.

I emailed you the pics BUT it is raining here and Rainneys pics( no pun intended) are very good and representative of what shows up on the back of my rig.
It really is the set-up that you paid for and deserve.

Re: Factory tow hitch

Here are some pics courtesy of RubiconSS. Also stole some images from the georgiafjcruiser site. I'm going to talk to my dealer about this.

Re: Factory tow hitch

I would too. You paid for one thing and clearly did not get a similar final product. Reese makes a good product BUT giving up clearance and the appearance of a clean install isn't acceptable unless "OK'ed" by you in advance. Go get em'.

Re: Factory tow hitch

I think we definately have a big issue with the dealers and ultimately Gulf States Toyota on this. They are cutting corners and installing non-original equipment on our FJ's and calling it a Toyota original equipment tow hitch. I call BS!
