Re: Taking Pre-Orders now @ MSRP

I'll sell you my blue one in about 2-3 years once the diesel FJ Cruiser gets released. I'll include all the rig options and best of all I will leave on the ARB bumper.

Re: Taking Pre-Orders now @ MSRP

Brandonb, I have a question for you. My local dealers are of practically no help and I get three different responses from the same dealer for a arrival date.
My wife and I are seriously interested in the FJ but she is dead certain that she wants the color keyed interior panels, but the $2800 upgrade package that includes it, puts it out of our price range. Its a deal breaker for her so I was hoping you would be able to assure her that we would be able to order the trim panels separately. Say its so?????? thanks

Cool Re: Taking Pre-Orders now @ MSRP

To all you boys concerned about working with only one dealership and then spending the cash to ship it across the country, get a clue, sorry Brandon...If you are serious about getting yours then go to your local or larger city dealership. Every established dealer should be given a specific allotment of cruisers based on their dealer history. I just put down a $1k deposit today here in Denver at Burt Toyota. I am third on the list and they have an alotment of 8 available. So everyone relax and take a minute to breath before rushing to conclusions.
Cruiserdude out.......

Aaaah, cruiserdude, you see that's how this got started. Some of the local dealerships are ROBBING PEOPLE BLIND. Vegas local dealers are saying Market Value which means a huge markup over MSRP. Some other dealers have already said "$3K over MSRP." So... shop around or you will get screwed.

Hey CaliFJ, Nice to see someone so passionate about the new cruiser. As for your colored inserts I would not be surprised to see 4 or 5 aftermarket companies fabricating stuff we haven't even thought of within weeks of the releases. Go ahead and live your dream. Sweat the small stuff later... PS, Are you going with the 4x4 with locking dif and 6 speed manual? Let me know. I placed my order today here in Denver....

but remember to breathe before you get screwed cruiserdude - breathe slow and steady and make sure you dont tense up.

ive always enjoyed purchasing a vehicle far away from home and then having a nice roadtrip back home to get acquainted. cant do that now with kids - too expensive. but i always thought it was fun.
