Hey CaliFJ, Nice to see someone so passionate about the new cruiser. As for your colored inserts I would not be surprised to see 4 or 5 aftermarket companies fabricating stuff we haven't even thought of within weeks of the releases. Go ahead and live your dream. Sweat the small stuff later... PS, Are you going with the 4x4 with locking dif and 6 speed manual? Let me know. I placed my order today here in Denver....
we're all pretty passionate here about the FJ. just fyi, MT with the standard rear lock....
To all you boys concerned about working with only one dealership and then spending the cash to ship it across the country, get a clue, sorry Brandon...If you are serious about getting yours then go to your local or larger city dealership. Every established dealer should be given a specific allotment of cruisers based on their dealer history. I just put down a $1k deposit today here in Denver at Burt Toyota. I am third on the list and they have an alotment of 8 available. So everyone relax and take a minute to breath before rushing to conclusions.
Cruiserdude out.......
Hey Cruiserdude, is Burt selling at MSRP or what? Did you try Elway or Boulder?
I'm thinking of getting my name on the list, and thought you might share what you found. If past experience holds, the Denver stealerships will try to screw you every which way on a hot vehicle. I've heard some horror stories.
If it comes to it, I'll just buy from the dealer here on the message board. He is in Albuquerque or thereabouts. I'd gladly drive six hours to save a few grand.
He ruled. I miss him. Jake will never replace Elway. Took him three years to figure out he didn't have to lay down and find the fetal position after the snap. HUGE Denver fan. Don't go there. Ya'all are just bitter. Not our fault we're in the playoffs damn near every year. If the rest of ya'all would actually come to play... maybe we'd see your teams there, too...
And just to stay on topic - NO, I would never buy a car from a retired jock. Prick's should have learned to do something in school instead of dumping millions into buying every dealership they can get their grubby little hands on afterwards.
Shop around, you'd probably get a better price in UTAH, then in Denver and it's the same region.

i grew up with montana (live right by the coliseum, so i live in raider land). what 'd the niners do to the broncos in that one superbowl - i forget....
On those dark and awful nights, when I lay in bed in a cold sweat thinking of all the things I've done wrong, all the embarrassments of my life, all the people I've hurt, all of my inadequacies and shortcomings, all the responsibilities I have, all the promises I will not keep... when life itself begins to mock me, I think about John Elway losing his last college game, to Cal, because of The Play.
I'm gonna let you guys live, because I like you and I respect MOST of your opinions. What I can say, is that after being a bronco fan since I was 9 and watching every year as our boys worked their asses off to make it to the superbowl only to have their asses handed to them, that watching Elway SINGLE-HANDEDLY defeat Green Bay will forever be one of my favorite moments in sports history. You could feel his emotion through the screen watching that game. He definitely deserved it.
That being said, truly I'm not much of sports fan at all. I hate jocks. Always have. Comes from growing up as a nerdy little geek. I don't have any respect whatsoever for millionaires playing a kid's game. None of those freakin' pansies would survive more than a day doing a real man's job. Hand em' a shovel or a hammer and watch each of those big princesses turn into a whiney little *****.
That's why I hate me some jocks. So, love whoever you want to love and respect whatever game you want. Just know in your heart that it is those of us who go to work on a daily basis that make this world go round, not the overpaid pre-madonna's that sport a team logo and whine about not making enough money.

Just preferenced my Cruiser today today with my local dealer I am #3 in line behind the owner and the owners buddy (put my deposit in back in October.)
MRSP guaranteed.
Even more remote than New Mexico but if you are not out to impress Paris and are desparate and want MSRP...
contact my sales guy Jeff Haggar Billion Toyota in Sioux Falls South Dakota 605-361-7000 or 800-658-3490.
I get nothing out of dropping this guys name but have always found this thread annoying. Brandon is not the only dealer that will get you MSRP.
Please dont expect Jeff to answer any questions like whether MT's come with rear lockers cause he knows barely as much as we do.
$500 (non-refundable) check will be cashed, first refusal, preferenced to your wildest dreams. He didn't tell me how long the line is at this moment or how many units they expect. It is entirely up to the dealer whether they choose to hiJack early adoptors so shop around.
