Re: ToyTec Group Buy II

Well I got two of my three boxes today. It amazes me how Fed-Ex can seperate the boxes when they were all shipped at the same time.

That may have been our fault. We wanted to put the adaptors, sleeves, and bushings in the shocks so you guys do not have to put everything together, and figure out how it all fits. I think your shocks did not make it out the same day because of this.
Sorry!

Thumbs up Re: ToyTec Group Buy II

UPDATE!
Only one more day left! We are almost out of stock of the Bilstein rear shocks, and the Light Racing warehouse is also out of the Coilovers. We have 2 sets left.
More are not due in until the 3rd week of November.
We do have a good stock of all of the front, and rear coils for the other kits.
Thanks for all the orders, you guys have set a record with this group buy! 16 orders so far...

Re: ToyTec Group Buy II

Alright Doug I have a question for you. My tires just came in for my FJ and I had them mounted today. Now before I go installing my ToyTec lift I'm thinking I need some reassurance regarding the 883 front springs I decided to go with. As discussed the main reason I wanted a lift was to get a little bit more clearance for some larger tires (285/70-17).

Now at a later point I'd like to get an All Pro front bumper and warn winch and at that time I'll get some 884's or 885's depending on what you guys recommend. The concern I have with the 883's is the rake or how the FJ will sit. I've seen the pics of FJ Aggies (just saw it in person) and the Silver one on the ToyTec website. If not mistaken these are running the 884's up front and well I like the way they sit. They seem to look flat. Ideally I only wanted like a 2"-2.5" lift to fit the tires. I know the difference in the 3 most popular springs are only a few mm's but will I notice the front end too low with the 883's? Maybe I'm just thinking a bit too much here???

Guru
The difference in the front spring is 10mm between the 883, 884, and 885.

Hey Guru, I think the difference in the rake comes with the half inch spacer that came with my kit... Not the difference in the spring i think.

Yeah mine has the same spacer. Ahh 10mm (only 0.39 in.) WILL NOT be noticeable in pics and I think I made the right choice.
