Combined Battery Clamp Group Buy

I'm going to combine the Group Buys for these and get them going.

If you are interested in participating in a Group Buy of battery clamps, please post your interest here!

The ones produced for the group buy will be engraved and anodized individually according to each participating members preference.

UPDATE: We have enough (since now combined) to offer these at $55US anodized.

Prices include shipping!

The engraving can be a free for all, different on every single part is totally cool with me.

We are going to end this group buy Friday, January 19, 2007. If you catch me early Saturday chances are I can squeak you in.

Please send your payment as soon as you can, along with a reminder of your customizations (notes in paypal or a physical note if you plan to mail it to me). I will put a happy face beside the names of those who have done so and have their clamps rolling! Thanks!

If you don't have a rolling happy face beside your name and should, please let me know... It's very possible I am havign trouble connecting your username to your email and real names. Thank you.

Re: Black Battery Clamp Group Buy

Sorry if this has been brought up before. Will this battery clamp work on the Optima? I'm guessing it will, but just want to make sure. If so , put me down for one.
Thanks

My question as well.

Also, what makes these clamps better than stockers?

Maybe at some point in the future Joel can make a clamp for an Optima or other highest-end battery. Unlikely that we will be replacing our batteries with Panasonics.

Re: Black Battery Clamp Group Buy

Your stock ones are steel... and steel will make a nice underhood ugly in a few years... these ones fit alot better, look alot cooler, and are very beefy. I don't know if they will fit others, I designed 'em for stock FJ's. Give me some measurements and I can do whatever you please...

Oh yeah... aluminum does not rust!

Here's a side by side. There are pics on the forum of installed ones if you want to compare installed.

Re: Black Battery Clamp Group Buy

I'm really interested but I don't have any extra cash laying around.
Can I have one for free?

After buying my own FJ, I don't really have any extra cash laying around to buy the material to make you one either. Plus now I have to pay vendor fees, and I'm still paying for the machine I make 'em on. If you PM me some sort of trade or barter I might consider it. But in the meantime, sorry, I can't do that.

Cheers,

Joel
