Who said it would be her boot?

I understand that things have not been so smooth in this group buy, but this guy whining about it changes nothing. Something tells me that nothing would have pleased him anyway. He's just pissed because he did not get in on time when he had every oppertunity to say "I'm in" with no obligation on his part. Nobody said that they were locked into a contract if you say "I'm in".

You see, generally a group buy is made to generate interest in a product. Unfortunatley in this case it was a product that is still in the begining phases of it's production. Apparently there was a prototype out there, but no real production pieces. Because of this there was not really a production piece to take pictures of, but that is just kinda part of it when you participate in a group buy of this early nature.

Now, if your not willing to say "I'm in" because of a lack of pictures because of the above reason that is your fault and your problem. The vendor has not recieved one penny from anyone on the list, and IIRC will not until these start to ship out. So, to me it seems like all of the pressure in the world is on the vendor and none at all is on the consumer at this point. To cry and whine that you did not get in on time because you were waiting on a picture is just stupid IMHO. Blame the right person, not someone who is trying to do the whole forum a favor.

Very well said.

Re: Group Buy -- Expedition One Sliders

OK kids. Sorry of the added frustration. Heres the deal I've got pics, I've even got vid. I just can't get into my normal image uploader becuase I'm not on my office computer. I can say that they look great, and I think everyone is going to be stoked!!!

Also I'm going to allow this price break to continue on for atleast 1 more week. So even though the group buy is tecnically over, I'm still going to allow people to get in on it at the current group buy price, the catch is that they may have to wait a few weeks longer for there product. Originally we were producting 40 sets. we were not anticipating so much demand. We've now added 20 sets to the current order. This will not slow down the time frame that anyone has to wait for there stuff that is currently on the list, so don't worry if your on it and have been on it for a wile. I'll see if ponch is OK with continuing to take the remaining orders. I'd personally like to give him a big thanks. He's really saved me alot of time, and he's definetly the key element that made this group buy possible....

Thanks Ponch.

As soon as I can upload some images I'll get some posted. Does anyone know how to do it via the forum?
