Re: Superwinch Group Buy Is Here!!!!!

Mine came today. Thanks a ton to James and Reno for putting it all together...it is a totally awesome winch, and a great price.

Re: Superwinch Group Buy Is Here!!!!!

I have been searching for a good cover for my new Superwinch EPi 9000, (Thanks again Reno and James!), and stumbled into this.....

| Ramsey Winch |
(scroll down to the winch cover)

Ramsey winches (Ramsey Winch supplies consumer and industrial winches, provides products and services which meeting Ramesy Winch's customer's delivery and technical requirements, and both manufactures and markets a competitively priced, broadly applicable line of co) sells a Neoprene stretch cover for their winches and Model number 251259, fits PERFECTLY. It is sculpted to fit the Ramsey 'Patriot' winches which are almost the same physical dimensions as the Superwinch, so I ordered one. Not only does it fit perfectly, but you can reverse it so the "Ramsey Winches" logo is not seen from the front. Superwinch does not yet offer a neoprene version - unfortunately.

I DO NOT suggest you buy it through Summitt Racing since they charge a $10.95 "handling charge" on every order, and the cover only costs $40!!

Got the Ramsey winch cover from Amazon.com. Cost was $50 shipped. Cover fits great and looks great. Ramsey Winch Cover 251259: Winch Cover, Neoprene, Black, Patriot/Patriot.

Re: Superwinch Group Buy Is Here!!!!!

Any of you fellow superwinch owners find 'un-spooling' difficult? I've got 125' of synthetic on mine, and it's a real pain to unwind.

Release the clutch and pull the line, correct? Am I missing something?

Even with the clutch released, I believe that you can power the line out to help.

Re: Superwinch Group Buy Is Here!!!!!

CLOSED

I am still getting emails now and then of people trying to get in - this group buy has been closed for quite sometime (sorry). Maybe you can work with James to get another one going (but be warned, it can be a lot of work).
