Full formed Door Sill Protectors

I have a pair of these installed in my FJ and they definitely do their job! I am not a sheet metal worker, just a machinist, so I have these CNC laser cut and formed by a local shop.

A before pic:

Other sills do not wrap around the sill allowing the paint to wear away where protection is most needed, on the radiused corner.

A bare brushed 5052 Alloy aluminum sill installed on my FJ.

Above: black anodized sill that has been installed for months. Wearing well.

Yes it is time to detail my FJ

We are looking at $95 plus shipping per set if bought individually at regular price.

$80 per set in the group buy plus shipping. Includes anodize and adhesive (real 3M). We can engrave a pattern or logo on these for an additional fee of $15. These are a very large part and will require a custom jig to be made in order to hold these on the CNC mill for engraving.

Available in clear, blue, red, yellow gold, and black. The anodizing may wear off over time but atleast it will not be your paint. If you are concerned with this then clear is your safest bet.

Disclaimer: These door sills may vary in their anti-slip properties depending on what you choose to have engraved or not engraved. The stock anti-slip pad may be reinstalled over top but we do not provide provisions to do so. Please note that as a result of installation you may be creating a scenario where the entry surface into your FJ may or may not become more of a slipping hazard in comparison to the stock setup. Only you as the owner of the vehicle can decide to do this mod and as a result you must be willing to accept full responsibility for your actions. No liability will be accepted by Ellis Precision or the manufacturer for anything that may or may not result from your decision to install this product. Items will be labelled for show purposes only.

Thanks!

1. WV_FJ - black
2. GW193 - black
3. dconti - black
4. gsgmac - clear
5. Pit - black
6. Engine Jen - black
7. Sparman - black

Re: Full formed Door Sill Protectors

Any chance of engraving 'TOYOTA' across the protector in the font and style of the front grille, with a background of the rectangle checkers to match the plastic sill beside the door sill? That might look good.

The way they are now they go to the metal latch of the suicide door, but you'll notice a little dip in the floor just before it. I was considering cutting them off just before the dip for the production run.
