Round 5! aFe Cold Air Intakes

Brought to you by Ellis Precision, you have an opportunity to purchase aFe CAI's in volume with substantial discounts.

51-81162 -aFe ProDry S intake - $275.00 Plug included

54-81162 -aFe Standard intake - $285.00 Plug included

75-81162 -aFe ProGuard 7 intake - $300.00 Plug included

Please visit aFe - '07 Toyota FJ Cruiser, '05-'07 Tacoma, '03-'07 4Runner V6-4.0L

These have three different filter media types, which are explained best at their site.

These prices do not include shipping, so account for shipping from the Seattle area to you when you decide whether to sign up. Shipping costs will be actual costs. Basically 15 lbs from 98033 to you. Please use UPS Global Home

Extra filters are available for $50 each. You can mix and match filters this way for on-road and off-road performance.

The additional packages here can also be included in this group buy: aFe Products available!
These are great ways to get an even better deal with some extra equipment and goodies thrown into the mix.

TRD CAI owners may purchase these packages as well. They will fit! However, we need two packages accounted for to substitute one of our minimum 12 intakes to complete a buy.

Thank you.

With the free plug, it is identical. Made by the same manufacturer.

However you get your choice of filter instead of just the Standard and with the removable plug you can choose additional airflow if you desire. I've heard the plug out is a little louder of a roar...

Re: Round 5! aFe Cold Air Intakes

Is there a paypal fee, as there was with past group orders?
If there is, then I am not sure if I would be saving anything for the aFe ProGuard 7.

I just found in the last 10min 5 online vendors that sell this exact setup for $341.- shipped and accept paypal payments free of charge.

Re: Round 5! aFe Cold Air Intakes

I wished I had bought one on these instead of the Airaid.
The Airaid does what it should and is a good quality product, but DOES NOT line up with the TRD SuperCharger.
I gotta sell mine and get one of these.
After I start my new Job in second week of December, I'm in.

Did you include the plug? Also, the most I've seen for shipping is around $25. So even with paypal fees you will be saving. However, e-checks from paypal and mailed payments have no paypal fees of course. I need to look up the paypal fees on these again, thanks for the reminder. I have to submit a lump sum payment and do all the shipping, so I can't afford to eat the fees. If you really want to save, just mail it to me as a money order or cashier's cheque.

Thank you

Cool cool. I'll be here.

FYI, the extra filters for $50 come with their matching cleaning kits free. I'll have to update the OP.

I know. I kick myself in the ass everyday for not doing that.

Re: Round 5! aFe Cold Air Intakes

I want to be in, but I need more details on the filter choices....Difference between Pro Dry S and standard?? Web site doesn't give much info on the difference, just lists the choices.
How much less CFM is the Stage 7 (finer filtration) as compared to the Si? Aside from fine dust filtration, any other benefit? It seems like the standard set up with the higher cfm would be better, as long as you keep it clean. It seems the other would restrict airflow once it began to get dirty since it filters at a much finer particle level......
Thanks for any feedback.

You are right, the ProGuard offers the best filtration but this will limit the amount of air it will be able to let in. The Standard is a good bet. If you get the standard and are going on an especially dusty trail, you could quickly put a pre-filter over your filter. Or you could buy an extra filter for $50 and get the free cleaning kit, allowing you to have a swap out for city versus offroad driving. This is what I did...
