They look like this, except in Black powder coat. You can see the welds are very nice. THIS GROUP BUY IS FOR BLACK

I'm interested in black powder coated ones, but I'm concerned about trimming for the Bandi mount. Is it necessary, how much/how hard is it, and how does it affect the structural integrity?

Also, won't that screw up the powder coat?
If there is any trimming, it's not done on the Tail Light Guards, its done on the Bandi mount....

1) I'm in for the Black Powder set.
2) I put them on my tit silver FJC and needed to grind down about 1/8 inch on the circle of the Bandi Mount.
