Re: ToyTec adjustable Coilovers Group buy - NEW!

I want these...can I order the shocks painted black with red springs? This is a killer deal compared to the ICON and Walker Evans shocks.

Re: ToyTec adjustable Coilovers Group buy - NEW!

PM sent.

I am interested in this setup.

My TT SE came with Bilsteins all around.

I am installing a Lucrum bumper, a Warn M8000 winch, and a 2nd battery.

I like the option to "dial-in" the height. Until I add the 2nd battery to the passenger side, I won't know if I will still have the "driver side lean". The 2nd battery might serve as a "counter balance"?

If it still leans, will a shim be required, or can the coilover on that side be adjusted to compensate?

Re: ToyTec adjustable Coilovers Group buy - NEW!

Is there any update from the weekend run, how are they and what can we expect as far as ride quality & offroad ability?

We cannot paint the shocks and expect the finish to hold up . The shocks are a zinc plated steel; they would have to be stripped and re plated black which is not possible with a shock that is gas pressurized.
I just got word from Eibach that all coils will be Silver powder coat instead of red on our next order.

Don will be posting here soon. I can tell you I saw improved ride above our OME 885/N140S setup we had on our 2007 4Runner.

Hey Doug,

Are mine going to be red (preferred) or the silver?

Thanks Julian

We have 15 sets of red coils. Of those 6 are sold already.
I will make sure you get a set of red coils if that is what you want.
