Re: Titan Air Jack Group Buy

I also received mine yesterday. Just went out a test it. I also could not get it to fully inflate but I know my problem.

I have redone the exhaust system with a flow master muffler and rerouted the tail pipe for clearance. Last year when I lost the bead on my right front tire coming off a rock in big bear with the FJ nose down in the rocks I was having trouble finding a place to jack from. A friend had a ARB X-jack that saved the day. Trying that day I found that I had missed the top 1/4" weld on the tail piece so exhaust pressure would not rise the truck. CO2 inflated the bag just fine. I have since repaired that leak but today I found a small hole in the weld in front of the muffler that I must take care of ( it started to whistle when the suspension was about full travel).

I tested the compressor attachment which worked. I think I will put thread sealant on the different fittings making up the adapter but thats just me.

long story short: as with all equipment, try it out in your nice, flat, dry driveway first. see what you need to do to make it work for your set-up. i got it to work with the exhaust, but i think i will partially inflate with exhaust (or just pull the ends apart for partial inflation), switch connectors, and finish with my powertank in the future...

Dmitry,
only leaks i heard were around the seal at the end of tail pipe, but i have a ding i need to flatten out. once i got a good seal at the end, it worked as advertised.

I also have a flow master, and when I was testing the jack, I wondered if I might have a hole in it. I bet that's the problem I'm having.

Thanks for the input!

Re: Titan Air Jack Group Buy

Still have not gotten mine. Steve took my details and I asked for a confirm email with tracking number...Nothing, don't even see my CC charged yet. Tried to call, but only get voice mail from his cell...I am going to try again, hopefully he'll pick up?

Re: Titan Air Jack Group Buy

Too bad... I'm having all kinds of fun with mine. It makes tire rotation a LOT easier than dealing with a floor jack.

What did you do? Buy 4 of these and have them up at each corner?
