Tested mine out today after installing my new All Pro High Clearance Exhaust Pipe. It is 3" diameter with an angled cut at the end. I couldn't get a tight seal with the exhaust connectors and it wouldn't fill the air jack.
I had purchased the compressor adapter as I had planned on using the air jack that way anyway, just disappointed the exhaust method didn't work as others had mentioned. I have a Warn Powerplant winch, which has a built-in air compressor. What I like about this method is with the remote control for the winch I can be at the jack to reposition it as required and still control the air, instead of having to be at the tail pipe to hold the connector in place.
I didn't position the jack exactly right so the lift was a bit uneven. I have a 3" OME lift with 33" tires and the front wheel was 7" off the ground and the rear 5".
This the compressor adapter on the Powerplant. I had to add a quick-disconnect fitting to the adapter so it would work with the Powerplant.
