nub question...
can someone please explain to me why it would be better to use a compressor rather than your exhaust??
tia
Here let's make this a double noob question:
Does the increased back pressure have any adverse effects on the engine? I know a tennis ball in the tailpipe is not a good thing, and while this is different it is along the same lines...
What about exhaust leaks? Could this exploit them?
Oh yeah I am in by the way. If being in Canada is a problem Titan Winch sent me a PM so I might be able to work it out with him. Waiting to hear back! Gonna need the TRD and compressor attachments as well.

Not a nub question at all. Sometimes the exhaust may not be accessible (by a rock, a tree stump blocking it, or mangled out of shape so you can fit it) and it's always good to have options.

Joel, I'm not an expert, but the ARB X-Jack has been tested many times over and there has not been any reports of back pressure issues. These two jacks are so similar and I'm inclined to think that there shouldn't be problems. The only "problem" that I've read was when it's used with turbos. We wouldn't have to worry about that...

Exhaust leaks will cause the bag to fill faster, yes. My bolt on JBA cat-back had a ton of leaks. I got it sealed and welded. I looked under the FJ this morning and saw some more leaks (where water was dripping out where it was welded) So, i will need to go back and get them to put some more sealant on the welds.
Now to the other question. In order to make the bag fill faster, you can put your foot a little bit on the gas (while in park) and it will cause more exhaust gas to be expelled therefore fill the bag faster. Or, if you want it filled faster, but are not inside the vehicle, you can have it hooked up to the exhaust and a compressor for double filling speed.

I am in Please add me to the list with TRD and compressor attachments.
one question......I have one of the superflow MV50 air compressors that hook up to the battery.....will the compressor attachment work with my air compressor? or is it for the scuba tank compressors?
Count me in as well. Also for the air compressor attachment.
Thanks!
