Thumbs up Thanks Bud!!

I picked up my skids at Bud-Built today and just wanted to say a big thanks to Bud for helping us out with the group buy. I am really glad I made the trip up to Bud's shop and got to meet him in person. Bud is a great guy and his products bear that out. If you buy from Bud you will certainly be happy you did

Thanks again Bud, it was a pleasure to meet you and check out your shop.

Gloss Black, everything on my rig is black and silver. Hoping the gloss makes mud easier to rinse off. I still need to paint the handle to my Hi Lift black, that red handle just sticks out.

Re: Thanks Bud!!

Nice... This is good to hear. I am going to go with Bud-Built as well. I have read nothing but good stuff about the skids and the service.

I ordered mine black. I figure with it being black I can just crawl under and spray black paint to touch up. If I with with another color I would have to be careful not to get paint on everything else. I think black was a good choice.

Yea, I paint all the skids on my truck with Rustoleum semi-gloss black. I have found when when I initially paint the skids, that it is much easier (and less messy) to do with a small roller than a rattle can. I have also found that I can get a much better coat on this way too. Then when it is on the truck I touch everything up with rattle can Rustoleum. Works great...

I never thought of doing it with a roller, great idea!
