help needed
can somebody give me as detailed description as possible of how to mount secondary bracket to the frame .... how long the bolt and how to put that nut on it and how to tighten it ....

waisted 2hrs just trying to figure this thing out ....
That's the point I'm at right now. I sat and looked at that thing for an hour today and just walked away. I'll hit it more tomorrow, too cold in the garage now, about 38 degrees. The swing out takes a lot longer than I figured, into the second day now, the instructions leave much to be desired. If you are not capable of thinking things through to solve issues then leave it to an installation shop. For instance, it says use a 1/2'" drill, mark and drill holes for the supports.

The supports mount on top of the frame and you need to drill from the bottom. I ended up making a carboard template of the support mount and masking tape on the frame to locate the "correct" spot. Then you have to hold up a big 1/2" inch drill and drill 8 holes, four on each side 2 bottom and 2 on top of the frame. My shoulders and arms are aching today. I also had to grind the slotted holes in the supports a bit (1/8") to get the required spacing between the spindles.

Test fitted the arms and they align just right with a bit of shimming under the supports. There is a weld bead on the FJ frame that tends to tilt the spindles in towards each other, it depends on how much weld bead there is, each FJ must be different. Anyway, I've taken several dozen pictures of the steps I've taken and I'm compiling a pdf document with pictures and hints to supplement Lucrum's installation guide.

Then I get to install my new Warn rear bumper. Going to be a long weekend.
