I have close to .5" on the right side but the left is about 1/4". I have had mine for 2.5 years so I don't know if Gobi has modified the bottom clamp. The inside of the door limits the left side of the clamp from going up any more.

Same here. I'm really not liking how long this is still taking...

Here are a few pictures that show how tight it is on the left side. You can see that the clamp can't move up any more on that side. It doesn't contact the left but it is close.

I will check Monday for you. Your credit card payment did not clear our bank till late Friday the 12th so your PO was sent Monday to GOBI. Your still on track.....
