Ignoring basic safety rules!! Dad shoots daughter at range.

Woman accidentally shot by father was federal investigator

How sad, the daughter should have cleared the weapon before handing it ot her dad, and the dad should have pointed the glock down range. Another sensless accident that could have been avoided.

Dumb....

I had a friend who almost shot a round while disassembling, but we are smart enough not to point the muzzle at a person.

I love Glocks, but I'm sure that this isn't the first death due to someone pulling the trigger to field strip. It's not Glock's fault, it's the people who forget the basic safety rules.

Same, I cringe every time I pull the trigger to disassemble.

So very sad....I live by the tennant; eject the magazine, clear the weapon three times and check for a round visually and with your pinky. Do that and I guarantee you will never shoot yourself or an innocent bystander!

It is a sad day surely when a father kills their child due to such things.

The story linked said that she was killed in their home when he attempted to field strip it there for cleaning...
