Re: roll down back window

It would be nice to be able to roll it down but the support for the spare tire on the rear hatch blocks where the window would go down into...

Re: roll down back window

Well, that makes sense, but it would still be nice to have a roll down windows like the 4Rs.

They could at least make it so that it will open with a remote.

Re: roll down back window

Why not a power pop out rear window? Just as it is now only power operated like the 4runner and can open it to varying degrees of "openness".

Re: roll down back window

When I traded in my 4Runner for my FJ I just assumed Toyota would carrier over the brilliant idea of a roll down rear glass. I looked in the owners manual forever to see how to make roll down

Re: roll down back window

I know this will set me apart as an "undesirable" but I'm a smoker. I know that some of you out there are also smokers....I see you hiding in the shadows, afraid of being shunned by the rest of the "beautiful shiny people"

But here is the deal, and you other smokers will back me up on this (of course, privately) It is almost impossible to smoke in the fjc with the window down- and I need the window down. WAY TOO MUCH WIND. Having a back seat window open a bit cuts the wind in most any vehicle down to nothing....but in the FJ unless you drive with the rear door window up, its like a blast of hurricane force wind to the head while driving over about 30 mph.

And before a smart ass says it- NO I'm not going to quit because I can't smoke in the FJC.
