Re: Option Horn

Easy install. Get it off the internet. Nothing to it. You'll love it, it sounds soooo much better.

Re: Option Horn

Just go to your local auto parts store and get a Fiamm high pitch horn and plug it in. Maybe $20.
Sounds great.

Re: Option Horn

It is as simple as it appears. I had previously replaced my primary horn with a disk horn I had around from an old M5 I owned. So I unwrapped the connector as suggested by Talim, and hooked up the OEM horn I'd recently removed.

Based on the harness length, there are 2 threaded holes readily available to connect the second horn. (Both are 6mmx1.0) I chose the one nearest the front of the engine bay (arbitrary choice).

Thanks for posting this simple and effective upgrade Talim!

Here are a few pics of mine.

Re: Option Horn

Similarly, not including the passenger arm rest leads me to believe Toyota was trying to cut costs. Those two were the first things I added to my FJC.

Re: Option Horn

Yea but I'm not paying $99 for an armrest that I'll never use.
