The roof is too thin...

This evening, some d*ickheads threw an iceball at the roof of my FJ. Only had her a week :mercy: ... and the result was two DENTS!

So I hereby state, please use molding on the roof or thicker steel.

Man I should never have taken the bike rack off, that would have deflected

That sucks. Makes me want to get line-x up there, but my roof color matches and I kind of like that.

Yep. Perhaps one day remove the headliner and gently undo the dents? I should have done that when my headliner was swapped out but i was because i crawled on it and got dents from it! LOL

Definitely, if yours is lucky enough to be require some TLC and good ol' elbow grease. I took it to a body shop because I didn't want to diminish the car's value if I had an emergency situation. I just started paying her off! Mine was real bad, the shop replaced the roof panel.

Re: The roof is too thin...

Time for a roof rack! Also, if you want to color match the roof, check out Monstaliner do-it-yourself roll-on truck bed liner outperforms Herculiner Bed Liner, Duplicolor and Rustoleum Road Warrior as they have something like 40 colors of bed liner available.
