V8 Version Please!

I definately would have purchased a V8 version - had one been available.

Provided if the fender issue would be resolved. I'd pass.

That's funny, I would have gotten the 4-banger if they made it...

250 is plenty... 200 is not.

Re: V8 Version Please!

On the contrary my Coastie friend. 250 in not "enough", I suppose we can contribute your "enough" mentality to being in the coast guard instead of the Navy! E-nough: adequate for the want or need; sufficient for the purpose or to satisfy desire: enough water; noise enough to wake the dead. I disagree, if we're going to upgrade the "**** n' get" factor on the FJ, why not use Toyota's "flagship" motor and make our mountain goats into mountain lions??!!

PS- no offense on the coastguard joke, the world needs puddle pirates too!

Re: V8 Version Please!

I have a 4.7 in my 4r. I love it but I do think the V6 is a better mix between power and economy. I am 18.5 on a good day. 16.5 on a bad day. Need the V8 probably 3 times a year. I would rather suffer those 3 days then get 17 mpg all year round. That being said, running the V8 is still cheaper then buying a new one.
