Mist on the Wipers

Real simple here. Give me a Mist function for the windshiled wipers. Push the wiper control up, it springs back to the off position, and I get ONE pass of the wipers.

Re: Mist on the Wipers

There was a thread about that back in 07, And somebody talking about taking the stalk off a Rav4 and putting it in the FJ. But I never heard anything back about the subject.

Re: Mist on the Wipers

I'm not sitting in my rig right now, so I can't double check, but I thought that you got exactly what was described when you pull back on the stalk?

If you pull back you activate the washer.

x2 I could have sworn I was just doing this earlier today. Pull it towards you and you get mist and one wipe.

Re: Mist on the Wipers

The OP doesn't want to spray a mist of washer fluid, just a single swipe on the glass. I'm not bothered by the way it works now, but several people feel the same way as C5Drvr.

x3 - just a quick tip and you don't activate the washer. Seems there might be a bit of delay in the washer for this reason.

Thanks for pointing that out, I missed that when I read the post the first time.

Re: Mist on the Wipers

Ah, I see. I just knock the stalk down for a second to get the single swipe. It doesn't bug me, but my last rig didn't even have an interval setting for the wipers so I feel pretty spoiled with the current set-up.
