If you're going to build and market an FJ modeled after the old tried and true FJ...

please get rid of some of the fluff (maintain as "options") and add essentials for off-roading...like MAP LIGHTS? I'd trade my stupid stock "side sun visors" for map lights any day...

Love my FJ, but not only does it need map lights, but it really needs a center stowage console/armrest like every other SUV on the road. I really like what Nissan did on the Murano, where there's enough space in there to store a laptop computer. I saw Tuffy has a center console, but its so expensive. The interior also needs padded armrests on the doors; I added ones made by Zeta products and they look very OEM and work great. Last suggestion would be an adjustable lumber support; my lower back started to hurt towards the end of my 12 hour road trip home from when I bought my FJ.

For those looking for the Zeta Pad, Here's the link

Toyota FJ Cruiser Door Armrest Elbow Pad

I'm kinda on the fence with this. I've thought about better padding, but I think I would rather have a better arm rest on the right side. Kinda of along the lines of a center console that has the top for an arm rest. Someone made one, I may pattern something like he did.
