Angry Stop The Beeping!!

Seriously I love my FJ, but all the beeping is killing me. Does Toyota think Im some sort of mindless freak that doesn't know when their seat belt is buckled? Or when I crank it up......why are you beeping at me??? But byfar the worst is when Im washing the truck and I have the radio on and the door open, its almost not even worth having the music on because of the mind numbing monotone BEEP.....BEEP....BEEP. I understand the back up sensor, but c'mon Toyota fix it please.

Re: Stop The Beeping!!

you can turn off the seatbelt beep its in the owners manual and posted on the forum about 50 times.

When you want music and the door open if you leave the key in the ACC (might be ON, I forget, one keeps beeping the other stops after a while) position the beeping will stop after 10-15 sec or something like that.

Looks like Toyota already fixed it for you, man they're quick.

Jajajaja, you know what sucks, when you go get some milk or something, and you put the bag on the passenger side, all of the sudden you're getting the beeping all the way home.

Is that a bag of milk or a carton of milk in a bag?

Did Roo ever say if his bag of milk made his seatbelt warning beep go off?

The beeping is great when you place a backpack in the passenger seat and ever time you hit a bump it thinks someone is there and beep....beep...
