Question Re: Brush Guard and Light Bar Comparison

I have gotten myself a Manik brush guard for my 2008 FJ. I do not have the installation manual. The guard has two prongs that go through the front grill and it is pretty obvious where they suppose to be bolted to the frame. However, there are two brackets that connect the lower of the guard to somewhere inside the hood. I cannot figure out where the lower bracket is supposed to be attached to. If someone have the installation manual of the Manik guard, or tell me how the attach the two lower brackets, I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you for any help you guys can give.

just a newbie in this forum.

I ran across this one today. At $250 shipped, it is among the cheapest, a bolt together three piece design.

I can't see any crossmember for mounting lights where I would want them.
