Brush Guard and Light Bar Comparison

I can't afford the big fancy bumpers right now, and I really don't do any heavy 4wheelin' anyhow. Primarily I stick to fire roads for Hiking/Backpacking excursions. So I've been shopping for brush guards and light bars for the front of my FJ and thought I'd try to get a running list of those I've found thus far. Hope some people can get something out of these links. :Updated with Pictures, thanks Sun Fusion Cruiser

Re: Brush Guard and Light Bar Comparison

I have talked about the Manik before and really like it. I think it looks even better than the factory Toyota one coming out. But the more I see that Dakar light bar at SOR, the more I like it. Leejam99 just bought the Manik guard and installed it last night. He said it was a PITA though. He said he will post pics tonight. Here's the thread of Power Pop's LB Crusier with the Dakar light bar. It looks really good.

Re: Brush Guard and Light Bar Comparison

BTW, that Real Wheels guard is way too overpriced! I would much rather have an ARB Bull Bar.
Also, if you want to post pics, right click on the pic and click on "properties" and highlight and copy the address of the pic. Then when you are doing your post, click on the "insert image" button, the yellow one w/ the mountains on it.

Re: Brush Guard and Light Bar Comparison

Hmmm, could anyone photoshop the "Rallydesign" bull bar, in pic one, and the "Manik" Brushguard, in pic four, both installed on a black FJ???

Re: Brush Guard and Light Bar Comparison

What about the new Manik bull bars on their website (first pic. on homepage). The one that comes with the beefy looking skid plate....anyone have one of those yet? Any other pictures?
