Re: Buying black mirrors?

Guys,
A few questions about replacing the side mirrors. First, I have a 2010 Army Green base 4x4. I just started the blackout process. Some aftermarket side mirrors come with heaters. Is the wiring already installed in the door for heaters ? If so, how are the heaters controlled/switched ? Would this also apply to the light on the front of the mirror ?
Thanks, HMK

I assume these are the ones you're referring to.

Anyone have a pic of these in person?

Re: Buying black mirrors?

I thought about doing the TT mirrors. I also thought about painting them myself. Then I stumbled onto some overlays for $20 and decided I'll probably go that route along with the billets which install over the lights. Gives it a bit of a different look, it's easily reversable, and leaves a bit of silver, which I do not mind since I'm not going total black out... probably about 90%. And if they look dumb... no biggie, I'm only out $20...

Found them here and of course I'd go with the black ones: FJ Cruiser Mirror & Dash Wraps [See Option] - $19.99 : Pure Auto Parts Online Store - Toyota, Jeep and Diesel Performance Parts Headquarters
