Rally setup, with the lights over the grille.

Where they belong.

Nice.
Exactly right! No worries about departure angles, mud or rocks, and especially water crossings this way.

For brightness comparison, are the headlights stock, PIAA, or other vs the center Hellas?

It looks like a Super Nova.
Headlights are stock. Driving and Fog lights are PIAA 580's

Re: Ahh, now I see

Thanks, I realize I covered the "Toyota" up, but this is the style of lighting I have wanted since before the FJ even came out, so I am very happy with it.

Your rig looks really nice. I'm jealous. I don't think I will be changing the front bumper anytime soon... so this might be a good option for me as well. Any legal issues with your headlights being partially blocked by the outer driving lights?

I guess I'll find out, but viewing the stock lights from the front at night you cannot tell they are obstructed at all. You can't tell from the inside either. So the only way I will have a problem with the Police is if one is having a bad day

I have $3000 worth of Shimano and G.Loomis fishing tackle (all about 2 years old) that I am selling for $1500. As soon as that is sold it's a lift, wheels, and tires. If I don't have a little bit of patience, there won't be any Christmas this year (except for me )
