I believe the Dragon Bar would be where I partake of the frosty beers of the great Northwest.

dragon,

dang dude! would you believe i had this same idea when i was considering the manik brush guard? i figured i would span the two light mounts with a bar that could accommodate 4 lights. it just goes to show that warped, twisted minds do indeed think alike.

Re: Dakar Bar Stock Headlight Obstruction Fix

all right, I'm sold. I just joined the forum a couple of days ago (just picked up my FJ on Wednesday!) and was mulling over your original brackets that placed the fog light in the grill. Now I am going to order the Dakar bar and load it up with driving lites to blind the deer. Speaking of Northwest beers, I prefer Hale's Ale when in Seattle, and Silver City Brewing in Silverdale, Wa (local restaurant that makes great brews). Keep up the great work Dragon!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new FJ, Pardoni. If I ever get to Seattle, I'll make sure I try Hale's Ale. Most often, local brew is the best.

Re: Dakar Bar Stock Headlight Obstruction Fix

Ordered a Dakar light bar from Central fourwheel drive in CA. They said they are flying out the door fast!, so now I have to wait until the end of the month.
Does anyone know if you can mount a High lift jack to the bar????

Do you mean to transport the jack or to lift the FJ? I absolutely would not lift the FJ using a jack on the Dakar Bar.

I was thinking of getting Demello's High lift jack mount kit and faceing the mounts so that the jack could be mounted on the back side of the bar above the bumper. Don't know if the bar is strong enough to hold it.
I have sliders as a jack point.
