Ordered a Dakar light bar from Central fourwheel drive in CA. They said they are flying out the door fast!, so now I have to wait until the end of the month.
Does anyone know if you can mount a High lift jack to the bar????

Outside are 580 fog. Inside are 580 Driving. Headlights are H4 PIAA replacement bulbs. I can take some road pics tonight.
I am really liking those 580s Dragon. I was a Wally-Mart tonight in the auto section looking at lights. I didn't know they sold Hella 500s. The kit was $65 for 2 driving lights. People talk about how great they are and the great price, but they are ABS plastic. Sure the PIAAs are more expensive, but they are all metal housing.

Yeah, I agree, the "weatherability" and "wearability" of the PIAA's set them above the Hella. ...but I have had both and like both. Nothing wrong with the Hella's at all and they put out a hell(of)a lot of light.

I have had both and can't tell any difference in output, but love the PIAA tougher metal look (not the price). Anyway your setup looks great at night.

I remember when I got KC Daylighters on my old Jeep. I uset to wreak havoc with those. One night when going to the movies, my firnds and I flashed them at everyone inside the theater, blinded everybody waiting in line. Not smart, cause we got word that the cops wanted to have a little chat with us about that. Another time my friend and I were racing around like idiots in our neighborhood. When we turned into the edition, we were neck and neck, then he pulled ahead of me and cut me off. It was pitch black out and he was in his little Ranger. So I flashed my KCs on him. He was blinded and started swerving all over the neighborhood, almost went into a ditch. I was cracking up, I am cracking up now just remembering it. Aah, nothing like being 16 and immature.. I miss those days.
Just heard from Ty at Central and they are indead back ordered. Something about a ship still not in to LA. He said that it was diverted to HI. when the earthquake hit last week. They expect the ship to arrive later this week.
I have the same light bar on my FJ. Love it but I didn't do the install and the lower grill was removed. Would you mind sharing how you still have yours in?

Dakar front light bar (for tying down my canoe), one of those goofy propellers for my hitch when I'm not hauling. A truly hideous scratch from an upside down metal fence post I found while wheeling through a meadow.
