I have the same light bar on my FJ. Love it but I didn't do the install and the lower grill was removed. Would you mind sharing how you still have yours in?
I removed it, and after seeing exactly where the brackets would penetrate, I made notches for the brackets to go through and then reinstalled it.
Isn't it crazy what 15 months can do!? I had mine 1 month when this thread started and I've tranformed it into something that my wife will barely ride in....

You didn't have to modify the coweling portion of that grill? By the way, your FJ is a thing of beauty.

Real Wheels roof rack light bar (for canoe hauling)
Dakar front light bar (for tying down my canoe), one of those goofy propellers for my hitch when I'm not hauling. A truly hideous scratch from an upside down metal fence post I found while wheeling through a meadow.

Thanks Lizard
No, I did not. I actually took a pair of aviator snips (my weapon of choice for cutting so many things ) and if I remember right, I basically just cut the plastic grating to the very outside of each end. Let me see if I can make a quick sketch. Give me a minute.
Are you kidding me? Can I just call you Vincent Van Gogh? Thanks. I'll have to replace my grill before I take a bird to the radiator. I was just gong to throw some fogs there to deflect ....stuff.
Madison just had a 100+ care pile up last week due to some bad fog. Although I think driving 65 mph in 100ft visibility was the true culpret. I was thinking........"two birds with one stone...so to speak.

Nice. Yeah, we get some serious fog down here, too.
