Black Roof on a Silver FJ

here's my Silver FJ with a Black Roof Paint Job. now i just need some cool rims for it. something with black and silver that's tough and off-road worthy. any suggestions?

Silver is the only color that a black roof has any positive contribution (IMO). I personally don't care for the SE black-on-black, because the contrast of body color to roof is signature FJ Cruiser.

I toyed with this concept in a thread a couple months ago. Being a Denver Bronco fan has prevented me from giving this more serious thought. Also, I ordered my FJ with the roof rack and its black color helps with the white roof on silver body color. Seems to add a bit of definition.

If you can take some more pictures from a elevated point of view without trees casting shadows, I would like to see them.

Definitely gives it a much different look. Not really my brand of color combos, but hey that’s why it’s yours and not mine

I dont mind the look .....did you consider pianting the section between the rear door and the side rear wraparound window?

Not bad, looks better than I thought. I think this will only work on silver and look good because there is not much contrast with the white roof.
