HELLA hardwired map light

FJer's - I'm wondering if any of you have put this in your FJ (Hella map light - hardwired). Two questions - where did you mount it? do you mind sharing a picture with the group?

Thanks in advance.

Re: HELLA hardwired map light

I bought that same map light in March when I rcv'd my FJ...still haven't installed it. Also looking for recommendations. The electrical tech at the dealer says the best place is right at the edge of the dashboard closest to the center-right a/c vent to the left side of the console's silver moulding. This way it has access to the wiring channel of the three-dial display (compass, etc.) if you have that unit. Even if you do not have that compass option the wiring channel is still there.
