Re: Zombie Light Rocker Switch

Just ordered two from Jim yesterday after much searching for close to stock style switched. Jim is a great guy and answered all my questions. Got the driving light switch and the roof lights switch in the three positions style. This will make the roof lights work the two inner or two outter light swith one click, the all four on the second click. I almost went with the zombie lights switch, but being my wifes truck wanted to keep them more stock style.

2012 FJ 4x4 - Mods so far Steelcraft grill guard, Tail Light Guards, Spidertraxx spacers (not installed). Mods to go - TT 3" Ultimate w/ UCA's, 33x12.5 tires (undecided brand) on stock wheels, Roof light rack and the list keeps growing!

Re: Zombie Light Rocker Switch

I also posted about these switches on my FB. One of my FB friends said he went and ordered one the instant after I posted about them. I plan on ordering several of the switches when I'm ready to install my aux lights.

Great. Now I have to add more lights to my rig just so I can get this switch.

Nothing wrong with that.

I finished installing the switches.

The Front Locker switch is actually the ATRAC. It was just easier that way. The amber color is darker than it looks in the picture.

Thanks. Fit? Yes and no. It is not plug and play. It takes a little wiring knowledge and the wiring diagrams. Each switch has 6 wires. This switch has 10 pins. The subwoofer I have is not factory so I didn't use the stock sub wiring. The Parking and Rear Locker are just a matter of finding out which wire is the power in and the power out and hooking the wires up accordingly. The ATrac was a different story. The factory switch is a ground which isn't a big deal but the power in on the other switches turned the top light on (the lower lights are on with the park lights). I had to do a little trickery to get the top to light up when I flip the switch. I hooked it up to the power in for the cigarette lighter. Wiring was easy with the switch plugs because you use the metal clips and clip them in the plug. (Go to the OTRATTW website if you are lost). I did the bottom row a few weeks ago so the top row was easier to do after having the experience of doing the bottom row. I would rate this a 3 out of 5 for difficulty.

Yep. All of them are rockers. Down is off and flipped up is on.

I am going to do a write up on the switch install. I will not go into exact detail when I do. I don't want to spend hours telling someone to wire something that will be wired differently if they get a different color switch. The amber LEDs are a different type of switch that is an on/on switch but can be wired as an on/off as I did.
