It actually looks good, I believe. I think glossy would have been a mistake, but a flat black looks very natural.

Rig looks great.

Bostonian says I can't fix the negative rep point mistake. I will just have to wait until it lets me give you a positive one.

Damned computers.

Perhaps I will just start a campaign to give you hundreds of positive points since you deserve every one for the "I like women" thread alone.

Whaddaya say guys, wanna help out a dislexic brotha like me to get Dragons rep back on track?

Re: Blacked out Dragon Cruiser

I love the black bumpers and i am sure the mirrors look great, cause lots of vehicles have black mirrors. I just don't think i could paint my factory wheels black. I have to agree that the end result looks great, and Yes " you sir are a very courageous man" is a excellent statement. Way to get out of the box Dragon, I applaude your will to be different and having the guts to be the first to do it.

Done.

The wheels are a temporary fix since I am getting Mojaves soon. In the interim I wanted black wheels.

Masking was a pain for the mirrors and handles, but when I post pics I really think some of you will like it.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. No rep needed, though. We're all a community and you guys have all helped each other more than I. but I do appreciate the sentiment

Re: Blacked out Dragon Cruiser

OK, here it is with the newly painted "stuff" (mirrors, handles, grill).

Again, I prepped with Adhesion promoter before painting. Masking was a pain on the mirrors and handle, but obviously that is not an area where you are looking to save time. The grill I removed to paint.
