Toyota Black Diamond Touch Up Paint Problem?

I bought genuine Toyota Code# 211 Black Diamond Touch-Up Paint and it did not have the metallic glitter effect in it. I called two dealerships who opened their touch up paint, also with no glitter. A Toyota Paint Specialist told me all 211 Black Diamond Paint that he mixes has the glitter in it, so it is not something sprayed on or applied after the Black Diamond Base coat. Has anyone else used the Genuine Toyota Touch-Up Paint and had the glitter in it?

Re: Toyota Black Diamond Touch Up Paint Problem?

Hmmmm. So how are we supposed to touch-up the paint without the spot looking totally out of place?

Holy cow you're right, my 211 has no metallic in it either. But since I just used if for small chips no big deal for me as long as the black matches.
