Personally, I don't like it. I don't like that you can see the little tab to remove it and I don't like that you can see the three velcro tabs that hold it on when the lights are on. If I was going to smoke out my headlights, I'd go with the rockblocker 3M sticker stuff.

Hey mang, I thought the same thing that's why I was asking. I'll check out the 3m stuff thanks for the tip. I was worried that since they are so easy to put on and take off, someone might try to yank them one day when I forget to take them off.

Got a link for that 3M product?

Re: AeroFlow Lens covers yes or no?

I think the Aeroflows are worth it. A headlight assembly is $295.00. The film is there to protect from small debris and 'pitting' of the plastic. If you want something that can really protect and buffer a significant rock hit, you had better go with the Aeroflows. If you are just looking to smoke tint only - cosmetic -, then go with the Rockblockers.

Re: AeroFlow Lens covers yes or no?

I agree with NC...I have had the clear Aeroflow ones since about a week after getting my FJ. A day or so later I took a rock hit to the headlight. It didn't break anything. The film is for cosmetics. Aeroflow is for protection.

And BTW, how often do you sit and stare at your headlights to notice the tab and the velcro (which will NOT come off by itself)? Maybe it's because I have the clear but I have never noticed the tabs or velcro. And why would you take them off...ever??? The only time I take mine off is to clean them and the headlights. Then they go right back on. Well woth the $$ IMHO!!

Oh...and what the hell is the list? Is it a Cali thing to say "Hey list" instead of "Hello guys" or like we say here in N.O. "Hey y'all"? just curious...

Not so. I have the clear Rockblocker film on my FJ. I had a large stone hit the left headlight dead on. Made a he!! of a noise and I thought for sure something was broken. Just a nick in the film and headlight is fine.

Wesayso...Thanks for the info. I've been thinking of the Rockblocker and I think you just tipped the scale. Maybe I'll get it for Xmas. (From me for me.) You gotta do that now and then!

Re: AeroFlow Lens covers yes or no?

i have the clear aero's and do not regret purchasing them. took about 2min to install, and the acrylic is 1/8" thick or so. easy on, easy off when you need to clean them and barely viiable.

Re: AeroFlow Lens covers yes or no?

I have a set of the clear Rockblockers and agree w/ NC, they are well worth it. I like the fact that I can take them off and buff the lenses. At first, I was turned off by the fact that I could see the velcro and the lift tab, but after having them on for a couple of months, I don't even notice them any more.
