A nybody come up with a good idea for mounting long guns? I am looking at designing a rack for the inside of the rear access door.....anybody done anything differant?

I didn't think it was wide enough to mount mine.
My first range trip with my Tac rifle on Saturday I just laid it in the cargo area at an angle.
Savage 10FP in .308, Douglas 26" bbl chambered/threaded/muzzled by me.
USO SN-3 3.2-17 on a Badger base.
B&C Medalist Tac stock, Harris bipod.
I have it in a soft-case.
