Re: The Painted Bezel Thread

When I was painting it I was thinking "oh $hit what have I done?" I saw all the little imperfections...but I mounted and just smiled like an idiot for several minutes...felt like I just bought it again.

Lessons learned, get to the end of the thread before replying...hahaha

Yikes. I wish I was so bold. My garage gets a good bit of heat but not enough to keep it warm enough to paint in this time of year without some additional heating. :
I just removed it, and painted it in my shop. I call it my shop, but really, it's a glorified shed.
So far so good. Three coats, and I think the 4th will be the one!

Sun Fusion Representin'!

I'm a professional auto painter and did this myself months ago. In fact, I'm pretty darn sure I was the first. So there!

If anyone is in the Portland area, I'll paint your bezel for cheaps. PM me if you want.

Re: The Painted Bezel Thread

Anyone has a photoshop of a VB with blacked out bumper, white bezel, white mirrors, and black or white handles (not sure which). Trying to get rid of all the silver. I'll also probably go for the same treatment as Air2Air on the pillar. Thanks.
