The Painted Bezel Thread

Have you painted your bezel or had it painted?

Post up your pics here.

I've been asked about it enough that I believe many will want to do this and see pictures of those who have.

Re: The Painted Bezel Thread

I will most likely have mine in thsi thread soon. I'm trying to decide if I want to do it myself or take it somewhere to get done.

Re: The Painted Bezel Thread

I love that look, Dragon yours is the first I've seen to perfectly match the bumper and trim. i think you've posted it before and I'll have to look again but you need to post the process and paint you used cuz its perfect. This is on my list for sure.

Thanks Puulboy and BayouCruiser. I removed the bezel. I sprayed on a coat of adhesion promotor in an aerosol that you can get at any Auto Parts store. After that it was the rattle can with Rustoleum flat black. 3 coats. It has held up perfectly.

Re: The Painted Bezel Thread

Dragon, did you remove the mirrors and door handles as well or tape them off?? both seem much more complicated then the grill bezel
