OK Party people. I had a small chat today with a guy from ebay who is selling a pretty B*tchen carbon fiber molded plastic dash kit for our FJ's. Its 8 peice's. He only does a BIN for 229.00 + 15.00 to ship. I contacted him and asked if he would be interested in giving us a small break if I could secure him just 15 orders. He offered a flat $200.00 + $10.00 to ship. I would guess that would be the lower 48 states. Sorry Canada. His name is mark and sounds like a cool guy and a straight shooter. He also has Diamond Plated kits. Remember these are not cheep vinyl stickers, rather hard plastic. I asked if they were replacement parts and was told no that they go on with 2way tape. Mark said it will take about 1 hour to do it right. Next I asked if he had some pictures to upload to me. At the present time he does not have pic's of a completed install on an FJ.
Please give me some feed back if you guys think this is worth doing? Also you can shoot Mark an email at agentmla@yahoo.com Min. order is 15. Thanks guys.

Come on people. Your killing me! I have nothing to gain from this. Just $34.00 savings like everybody else that is going to jump on the wagon with me. I like the pictures and all, but can we get serious please.

have you ever used/installed one of these kits? if not i urge you not to. I did it in my 04 honda accord. It makes the interior look cheap/crappy. you can ALWAYS see the actual interior parts through some of the crcks openings. and changes the elevation of the interior as well. And once that crap is on... i dont think you will ever get it off without replacing your interior pieces.... i would suggest getting with a c/f manufacturer and giving them your stock pieces you want to replace. then have them make a mold and produce and ACTUAL c/f kit that will replace the stock pieces. This could be done "fairly cheap" if you have enough buyers.

I'm with Dmitry, if its real CF I'm in for sure. I will not pay $200+ for a tacky sticker.

its not real c/f guaranteed. it might look like it or it might be an actual c/f one layer inside a soft resin like material that is flexible... there is no way its REAL c/f with stickers.. if they went that far with real c/f they might as well have made replacement parts... plus real c/f wouldnt bend to fit around the stock trim...
