Sun Roof Installed

Cant stop messing with this thing. Just put a sunroof in. I like it! I had them move the original dome lamp forward. I also had them put in another OEM dome lamp in front of the sunroof. Big difference!

Re: Sun Roof Installed

I just had a a Webasto installed and picked up my rig today. I'm still in the observation phase to see if I like it or love it. The sunroof itself seems to be just fine. My only concern is with the sunshade. When you have your sunshade open, how snug does it fit? Mine seems too loose. If I jam on the brakes, the sunshade will slide forward sometimes...it just seems too cheesy to me. What do you think of yours?

Re: Sun Roof Installed

I LIKE IT!!!!
Then I ask a lot of questions
Does it leak?
What about the speakers in the headliner?
How much $$$?
Is it electric and retractable?
Nice domelite put where it belongs , is it additional?
Where can I get one?
Is the glass tinted?

Re: Sun Roof Installed

I paid 970.00 installed. I also purchased the Toyota dome lamp ( it was actually 2 parts). The lamp cost about 30 dollars. My sun shade is nice and firm. The roof also has 3 memory positions. The glass is tinted. Just got it back, so I cant answer about any leaks. I live outside of PA. The company is called Automotive Concepts in Horsham Pa. They install 5000 sunroofs p/year. I am tempted to put leather/heated seats in now. I need to stop this Mod crap. They put the 3rd lamp in for me at no extra charge.

Re: Sun Roof Installed

Looks great. Not a bad price either, just about what most manufacturers charge. What's the warranty?

Re: Sun Roof Installed

Great, thanks for the info. I will take mine back tomorrow to have them take a look at the sun shade. You got a great price! I paid $1200.00 installed, which is the going price in the D.C. area from what I can tell. Had I seen your post, I would have traveled the 2.5 hours up to Horsham...it would have been worth it. If I get the run around from this place in MD, I may actually run up there.
