Titanium with Matte black top

Here it is, not for everyone, but I like it. Will post some outdoor photos as soon as they get it back to me. I also did the grille, but I doubt I will do the handles and mirrors. I don't mind them since they match the body color on the Titanium. I do like them black on the Sun Fusions and Voodoos though.
Couple outdoor ones, battery went dead not very good shots.

That looks amazing. One of the problems I've always had with the silver is that it didn't' contrast well with the white roof. I'd still like to see a roof rack there. Great work.

That's really sharp! I think that finish would look good on any fj color since it would match the trim color. Good job!

Re: Titanium with Matte black top

first of all i think it looks great, never really liked the how the silver kinda hid the white roof anyways, but i think it would look even better if you did the mirrors and door handles in a matte black too, and maybe even tinted the tail and front corner lights.

Re: Titanium with Matte black top

The reason for the white roof is for cooling. It is much more difficult to generate cool air than warm air in the vehicle. Back in the 40's there were several car makers making cars with white roofs.

Like the matte black. Thinking of some maroon or aqua blue pin stripeing for my Titanium jewel, once it gets here..

Re: Titanium with Matte black top

Dat is saweet, I thought from the get go that was the accent for the Ti. Black accents Including the roof would also look kickin' on the Sun Fusion AND the B. Cherry. Would have been nice to have a choice from the factory.

Re: Titanium with Matte black top

I think this style adds a nice rugged look to the FJ. The matte finish definitely balances off the plastic along the bottom. This style will look the best once you get it off road and covered in a layer of dirt, the whole FJ will look right at home.

Re: Titanium with Matte black top

I think it looks cool. Nice contrast. I agree with everyone here when they say that the silver faded into the white roof too much. Only think though, come summer, it's going to be like an oven in there. Hope your AC works well. Good job though!
