GPS Mount

I see there has been some discussion on GPS mounts,
I found that the Motorcycle/Bicycle handlebar mount that RAM makes, fits perfectly on the "Oh $hit" handle.
Reception is perfect on my ETrex.

Re: GPS Mount

Interesting. I'll have to check that out. My 60csx does not want to stay on the dash using the bean bag thingy from Garmin.

Re: GPS Mount

I used something similar for my 60Csx. It's an ATV mount from LobsterMount. I love it!

I've been using battery power up until now. I have the hard wire kit - just need to find the time to wire it up.

The RAM set-up is all in interchangeable parts ( bases, swivels, and unit mounts). You pick and choose the applicable parts then snap it all together.
Here is the RAM site
RAM Mounting Systems, Inc.
The part number for the U-bolt part is; RAP-B-102-231Z
I saw they do make a mount for the one you have.

It will fit any diameter from 1/2" to 1 1/4"

It swivels and angles pretty much any way you want.

Pretty slick mounting system.

They also make Ipod mounts as well....
