I dont know what is in the manual but this system worked the first time :

From the off position,
1) Turn key to ON
2 Within 6 Seconds, press and HOLD the odometer button
3) Wait 12-14 seconds (1 one-thousand, 2 one-thousand...)
7) Buckle your seatbelt
8) Let go of the odometer button and press it again
9) Wait a few seconds until it clears and goes back to the odometer with your milage.

I am a happy man.... The seat belt buzzer was my biggest complaint. I wear my belt all the time when I get oon the road but do not want to be bothered off road or on my job sites, in my case.
Thanks!
